ServeDock.com and the ServeDock mobile apps (the “Website” and the “App”) are operated by ServeDock and its affiliates (“we”, “us”, the “ServeDock Companies”). These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our Website, App, and Services (the “Service”). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

You may not use the Service if you are under the age of majority in your place of residence.

Please read these Terms carefully. They include important information about your legal rights, responsibilities, and limitations.

About the Service

ServeDock connects people who need help (“Requesting Users”) with independent third-party service providers (“Service Professionals”).

ServeDock does not perform any services itself and is not responsible for the quality, timing, or performance of any service.

Requesting Services

• You may post a request for a service (“Request”).
• Requests must be clear, accurate, and properly categorized.
• By confirming a Request, you agree that the first Professional who accepts may complete the job.
• You will be notified once a Professional accepts your Request.

Your Responsibilities

• You must have the right to allow the Professional access to the property.
• You or an adult (18+) must be present during the service.
• You must not interfere with the Professional while they are working.

Timing and Service Professionals

• Services may be requested On-Demand or Scheduled (Later).
• ServeDock does not guarantee acceptance, arrival time, or availability.
• Ratings or licenses shown are for information only and do not count as endorsements.

Cancelling Services

• User cancellations: No penalty before a Professional accepts. Fees may apply after acceptance.
• On-Demand: No fee if you cancel before the Professional departs. Fees may apply after departure.
• Scheduled (Later): No fee if cancelled 4+ hours before the appointment. Fees may apply within 4 hours.
• Professional cancellations: They may cancel for various reasons. Reassignment is not guaranteed.

Registration and Account Security

• You must provide accurate, current information and be at least 18 years old.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

Fees and Payment Terms

• You contract directly with the Service Professional. ServeDock is not part of the agreement.
• Rates: ServeDock sets standard service rates (materials not included). Rates may change.
• Minimum charges: May apply if a Professional has already departed or arrived.
• Payment: Processed securely through our payment processor. You authorize ServeDock to charge your payment method.
• Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

Prohibited Activities

• Do not create or accept Requests you do not intend to complete.
• Do not attempt to recruit Users or Professionals outside the platform.
• Do not harass or inconvenience other Users.
• Do not use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

Amendments

ServeDock may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

Content and Intellectual Property

• User Content: By submitting content, you give ServeDock permission to use it to operate the Service.
• Service Content: All other content belongs to ServeDock or its licensors.
• Your License: You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
